EATRIS Consortia

EATRIS is designed to overcome the fragmentation typical of the research environment, to consolidate knowledge and expertise and to secure continuous funding to help the research community progress a project as efficiently as possible from advanced basic research to first clinical application in humans.

EATRIS links together top translational research institutes in the academic sector, creating consortia with the scope and scale of expertise and capacity to be able to substantially increase access to the large and costly infrastructure contained therein.

The consortia comprise critical mass in the capacity and range of expertise necessary to be able to provide substantial amount of external user access to the full range of the translational pipeline, which in this case is defined as starting with advanced fundamental (proof-of-principle) to Phase II/IIa clinical trials (proof-of-concept).
