FAQ - Partner & Participation

Who are the partners of EATRIS?

Currently ten European countries are partners in the EATRIS consortium: Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the UK. Each country is represented politically and scientifically. The “Governmental Partner” represents the national translational research funding body while the “Scientific Partner” represents the national translational biomedical research community.

Who can participate in EATRIS?

EATRIS is open to partners from all European countries to establish a strong pan-European network of translation centres. Furthermore, EATRIS aims to help pave the way of implementing a translational infrastructure in emerging partners. As the political backing of the EATRIS contribution of a country is essential, the expression of interest to join EATRIS should be put forward by the ministry in charge of translational research funding policy.
